ABOUT THE PROJECT

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

While all the countries of the world are fighting the coronavirus, students go on a cruise where they will feel safer. In their journey, they discover a magic map. This map marks a mysterious castle and place. The task given on the map is; building a healthy town where they can live in good health. In this project; a magical town will be created with digital tools and students from different countries will live in a castle. In cooperation, they will build a town centered on the castle. In this town, students will work collaboratively on arts, sports, games, foreign languages ​​and health, and continue their education with the school they will build.
The aim of our project is to encourage our students to maintain a socially, physically and mentally healthy life with the healing power of arts, games, sports, culture and foreign language activities.

AIMS

1-Gaining 21st century skills,
2-Increasing the communication and cooperation between partnering schools,
3-Building an intercultural bridge,
4-Supporting and facilitating the efforts of students in learning a language,
5-Ensuring that the students interact and communicate with each other,
6-Contributing to the creation of a meaningful structure in students' language use,
7-Developing the empathy and tolerance skills
8-raising creativity, responsibility, productivity
9-to learn, form ideas and an understanding about multiculturalism/diversity
10-to create a greater appreciation for one's culture and for others
11-to teach and promote respect and tolerance
12-to show cultural similarities and differences without hate or prejudice
13- to improve language skills with writing and speaking
14-to encourage students to have healthy lifestyle habits.

EXPECTED RESULTS

1-In our project, we will highlight the use of technology and digital literacy.
2-With this project, we will make them use the technology more positively.
3- With our project, we will produce a clear and final product for everyone.
4-We will provide a clear TwinSpace.
5- We will prepare an eBook, we will build a website, and we will carry out collaborative
works with the project partners in order to make the works more visible.
6-Students will have introduced their countries and cultures and also learnt about their peers’. they will have improved their english. they will have caught the chance of making cultural exchange.
7-The project will develop pupil's language skills and knowledge of ICT.
8-The pupils will be eager to learn English.
9-We will develop their empathy/respect for other cultures.
